Crabapple Martial Arts Academy is honored to be featured in VoyageATL, a publication that highlights entrepreneurs, community leaders, and small businesses across the Atlanta area.
The interview shares the story behind our academy and the mission that drives everything we do.
Like many small businesses, our journey didn’t begin with a packed schedule and hundreds of students. It began with an empty dojo, long days of teaching, and a belief that martial arts could positively impact our community.
In the early days, there were classes with just one or two students. At the same time, I was working overnight shifts stocking shelves just to make sure the academy could stay open during the day.
But the mission was always clear.
Martial arts is about far more than kicks and punches. It’s about helping people grow into confident, disciplined leaders who make a positive difference in their families and communities.
Today, Crabapple Martial Arts Academy has become a thriving community where students of all ages develop confidence, character, leadership, and resilience through training in traditional martial arts.
Our programs focus on developing not only martial arts skill, but also the life skills that help students succeed in school, work, and life.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible students, families, and instructors who have been part of this journey.
