Reinforce Values

I found Crabapple Martial Arts online while researching area dojos with an emphasis on kids' self defense. I was delighted to find in CMAA a place that not only taught self defense but reinforced values I teach at home: like patience, honesty and the importance of hard work in a fun and engaging way. I am so proud of the changes I've seen in my son Chance in the 3 years he has been with CMAA. Within this nurturing environment he is developing a confidence in himself that he didnt have before. He is making healthy decisions on his own like grabbing fruit instead of chips when he is munchy and turning off the tv and gaming systems to read a book. My favorite change is how he shows the same level of respect to people who are younger/smaller than him that he does to those older and bigger. I attribute that and more to his Crabapple Martial Arts Academy training. I cannot wait to see where his journey to becoming a Black Belt in this dojo with this Family takes him.
