FREE Event with Shihan Matt White

We’re excited to announce TWO special sessions of Women’s Self-Defense coming to Crabapple Martial Arts Academy this May—and you’re invited!

All Women and Girls over the age of 13 are welcome!!!

Whether you’re a long-time member of our CMAA family or just curious about learning how to protect yourself, this is your chance to train in a fun, empowering, and supportive environment with Shihan Matt, a 6th Degree Black Belt with over 30 years of martial arts and law enforcement experience.

Friday, May 9th – CMAA Family Only

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This night is just for our CMAA ladies! Students, moms, and adult family members—come join us on the mat for a fun, focused evening of women-only training. No experience necessary! You’ll learn practical self-defense skills, get in a great workout, and have some laughs with your CMAA girl gang.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to train without the boys—this is it!

Saturday, May 10th – Open to the Public

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
This special session is open to all women in our community, even if you’re not currently part of CMAA. Invite your friends, co-workers, daughters, sisters, or anyone who could benefit from learning simple, real-world self-defense techniques. This class is beginner-friendly and a fantastic introduction to the power and confidence that martial arts can build.

Why You Should Join Us

  • Learn simple, effective self-defense skills

  • Improve awareness and confidence

  • Train in a safe, positive environment

  • Connect with other strong women in our community

  • It’s completely FREE!

This is about more than just punches and kicks—it’s about walking taller, thinking smarter, and knowing how to protect yourself if the need ever arises.
