Happy March CMAA Community.  Can you believe Spring is nearly here, although some days the pollen count certainly tries to convince us it is already here.  Be sure to check out all our current upcoming events.  We have things for everyone from our brand new martial arts students to our seasoned Black Belts.

Last testing cycle, the Intermediate Black Belt Training class absolutely dominated the Character Development Stripe contest between the different classes.  So as an award, we are throwing a special Intermediate class only Nerf War Pizza Party.  Register Here

Spring Break and Summer Camp Registration is Open

This year we are offering 2 INTENSIVE KARATE Summer Training Camps and 1 Spring Break Training Cam. We will be training all day, with a smattering of games here and there. Camp will run from 9 am to 3 pm. This will be the most productive Training Camp your child will ever experience. This camp will be geared to taking the student to the next level in their training and set them up for success at their next test.

2023 Shuri-Te Martial Arts International Conference 2023, may 4-7 South Carolina

 

2023 Shuri-Te Martial Arts International Conference

Renshi Matt is a featured instructor again this year at the conference. This is a SUPER FUN and AMAZING weekend of learning and fellowship with your martial arts peers. The conference will be held in Fort Mill, South Carolina from May 4th – 7th. If you are interested in attending this event, please see Renshi Matt or Sensei Robert for more information.  Crabapple Martial Arts Academy will be closed for regular classes Saturday May 6th, since all the instructors and Black Belts will be attending the conference.

About C. Matthew White, Renshi:  Matt is a fifth-degree black belt in a traditional Japanese and Okinawan Martial Arts – Shuri Ryu Karatedo. He is also a sixth-degree black belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu – Shintoyoshin Kai Jiu Jitsu, and a master instructor with the title of Renshi, which means Scholar in Japanese.  Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Physiology. He has been training and teaching martial arts for over 27 years and has owned Crabapple Martial Arts Academy since 2013. Renshi White is a motivational speaker and educator and teaches seminars in bullying, business, and martial arts training, around the world.
